# Setting Up Guardians

It's recommended to check [Dragon Events](/untitled/thedragon/dragon-events.md) before this tutorial.

**1)** Use <mark style="color:blue;">**/TheDragon addguardian \<id>**</mark> to add a guardian

**2)** Edit guardian equipment with <mark style="color:blue;">**/TheDragon guardiansmenu**</mark>

**3)** Add Guardian spawns in the arena with <mark style="color:blue;">**/TheDragon addguardianspawn**</mark>

**4)** Configure the event according to the guardian you have created in events.yml
